This was my first coding project as part of my A-Level Computer Science examination where I had to solve one of my client's problems. In this case, I created a revision app with flashcards using Python. I designed the user interface, modelled the database, and wrote all the code as efficiently as possible.

Being a forex trader and global economics admirer, I created a simple Python program with the help of an API (API-Ninjas) to provide real-time exchange rates for a broad range of international currencies. To improve the user interface, I added a plain graphical user interface through Python's built-in library of Tkinter.

USA EV Market Share Analysis

As part of my A-level economics course, I was required to research the market share of EV manufacturers in the USA. Since I was unable to find any recent data, I decided to analyse a large dataset obtained from the US Government's Open Database and generate my own figures for the EV market share in the USA. Given the vast size of the dataset, I wrote a Python script to analyse the data and extract relevant statistics.

About Me

As a devoted undergraduate Computer Science student at the University of Leicester and an aspiring data analyst, I have a strong passion for problem-solving. With nearly seven years of programming experience, I specialise in Python and hold a certification in the language, along with proficiency in Java and web development. Making use of these skills, I created one of my favourite projects which was the FlashQuiz application, developed for my A-Level computer science examinations. In the project, I created a functional user interface integrated with a structured database, illustrating my ability to combine technical skills with creativity.

In my part-time role as a customer services representative at Domino's Pizza, I have sharpened foundational skills such as communication and teamwork, both of which are crucial in any position. Clear communication is essential for serving customers effectively, while teamwork enhances collaboration among staff. Through assigned roles and responsibilities, I’ve had the opportunity to develop these skills, understanding that the combination of effective communication and teamwork allows a business to operate at peak efficiency.
